Update 4/13/20:

Second grade families,

Under "Files and Documents" you will find an optional week 2 homework choice board. There is also a link to a choice board for Encore classes.

Under "Files and Documents" you will also find a math calendar with additional math activities. There is also a copy of our second grade long range plans so you can see what has already been taught this year in second grade.

Origo At Home is included on the choice board for math. Click here to access Origo At Home.

Beginning next week we will have video lessons in addition to choice boards. Video lessons will be e-mailed to you and they will be posted here on our class web page.

Have a great week,

Mrs. Souza

Update 3/23/20:

Second grade families,

I hope you are well and safe. Please let your student know that I miss them so much and I am sad I won't see them soon!

Under the "useful links" tab you will find online resources for home learning.  Each week I will add a new choice board for students to pick math and reading activities to do at home. Under the "files and documents tab" you will find a copy of our second grade long range plans so you are able to see what has already been taught this year.

I would encourage all students at home to read, review math concepts, spend time writing stories, spend time creating art, and spend time playing.

I am available via e-mail with any questions. Students are welcome to e-mail me if they want to say hello, send me stories they've written, or send me updates about what they're doing at home. I would love to hear from them!

Thank you,

Mrs. Souza
